Amazing screen but let down by very poor computer software

Okay, so I've now had my Television for a ninth and I have to say, I love it. The monitor picture is just fantastic (just as explained by a highly regarded evaluation by Which Journal). Hd photographs just leap off the wall, and the extremely skinny bezel is exceptional. Make no miscalculation, this is a enjoyment to watch every single day - and a massive leap ahead from my four 12 months previous so called High definition Panasonic.So why just four stars? Effectively, any individual paying in excess of £1,300+ for a Television is not just buying a Tv, it is a laptop with a huge screen including the potential to surf the world wide web, view the BBC iPlayer or allow the youngsters mess about with applications.It need to interact seamlessly with your iPad, Apple iphone or Android pill, in truth at this value, I expected it would blow me away.But it just isn't going to.Wonderful hardware, substantial screen, very clear picture, skinny bezel and a pleasure to watch, but following 10 minutes striving to observe the BBC iPlayer from the Samsung Television Application Shop, and many frustrated waits, and I gave up.So Okay, you can shout Hi Television set energy off a number of times and it will sooner or later get the picture, but the engineering just isn't there yet.Will not get me wrong, this is a wonderful Tv, and I am fairly certain (as of October 2012), almost certainly the greatest all around, but its not but a full blown Apple Tv set. I just can not support considering, Apple would have carried out it greater.If you want a outstanding photograph (which is following all the position), you can't go improper with this, but you might want to add a tiny established leading box (Boxee, Roku or Apple Television set), to watch the iPlayer and NetFlix.Oh, and the audio is Ok, so you'll need to have to think about external speakers or a seem bar to get the greatest out of it.Total, Advised, but with reservations.

Beware a inventory fault has vertical pink line at proper hand aspect of monitor

Bought this tv set from comet, from brand new out of the box picture high quality is exceptional. but we experienced a bright slender pink line to the proper hand aspect of the monitor. Contacted comet and they wont swap the television just refer you to samsung. You are then passed on to a television fix shop who dont even come out, just say a new panel has to be purchased and they do hundreds o these tvs. Hunting on forums i observe that this is a typical fault, gently flexing the monitor makes the line vanish. Professionals.. Excellent photo on high definition greatest out there with brilliant contrast. Disadvantages.. Line on display, audio is like moveable tv, you'll want a soundbar at added expense, internet browser is painfully slow. This is a sequence 7 television bu applies to the sequence 8 also, numerous display sizes afflicted.
